Legend of zelda phantom hourglass help?

its for the nintendo DS (NOT DSI) and the zelda im talking about came out in 2007,but if u know what im talking about...when the lil guy gets his sword and he goes into the cave infested with monsters,then theres a door where u have to pull levers to open,i tried ever combonation,and the rocks that told me what to do havent helped one bit...could you tell me how to open the door to get out of the cave?
