Help with ps3 game download?

So my bf is downloading back to the future the game for the ps3. It was downloading and he left the house for a bit and we guess the 5th episode finished and he says it needed his ok for the installation to begin (I'm not a sony person so I dunno how this works. [Nintendo girl]) but when he left it said it was pending download and now he cannot find the episode to the game (It was downloading backwards 5-1) where could it had gone what can we do??
